United Coalition for Animals (UCAN) was founded in 2001, to stop the endless cycle of unwanted births and euthanasia.  The main reasons people do not spay/neuter their pets is the cost or they do not have access to spay/neuter services. UCAN provides low-cost spay/neuter services and free transports to its clinics from several locations in Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. UCAN sends a transport van to Winchester, Ohio, once per month. Pets are picked up by UCAN staff and driven to UCAN's veterinary hospital in Cincinnati, where they are sterilized. The van then returns the pets to Winchester the following day.

To schedule an appointment to have your pet spayed/neutered at the next UCAN clinic in Winchester, please U-CAN directly at
(513) 721-7387.
