The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc., was established as a non-profit 501 c 3 organization in 2005. Since then, we have helped with donations of many tons of dog and cat food, assisted families with low cost spay/neuter clinics, investigated hundreds of animal cruelty or neglect situations, provided dog owners with straw in winter for their outdoor dogs’ houses, provided hay to livestock owners in winter when money is short, and saved many animals in need. We would like to thank everyone who supports our endeavor.  Your donations, volunteer time, prayers, and encouragement allow us to move forward saving lives, one animal at a time.

We now have an animal shelter facility, located in West Union, Ohio, but we are unable to accept animals yet because we still need to raise operating funds. Currently, we have a few foster homes for animals, but we are always in need of more foster homes. We need cash donations toward our  basic operating funds.  And, we need volunteers! Can you foster an animal? Make phone calls? Help with our spay/neuter clinics? We need you!! Please call HSAC at 937-587-2727.
