The Humane Society of Adams County will be hosting the RASCAL unit at the new animal shelter throughout 2013. RASCAL stands for the Roaming Animal Sterilization Clinic at Low Cost. This wonderful organization provides spays and neuters to about 40 animals per visit and, as the name implies, at very reasonable prices. The clinic also offers low-cost vaccinations, heartworm testing, feline leukemia and immunodeficiency virus testing, microchipping, and dental cleanings/extractions. You can find RASCAL pricing information by visiting their website at www.rascalunit.com.
